Frank S. Jamnick, Jr.

Frank Steven Jamnick, Jr, 70, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at his home. Frank was born September 20, 1945 in Eveleth, MN to Frank S. and Anna (Perusek) Jamnick, Sr. Frank moved from Eveleth to Rochester in 1992. He worked at PossAbilities for numerous years and the past 2 years at Seniors through PossAbilities. He loved participating in the Special Olympics, winning many medals in bowling and basketball. Frank loved listening to music, especially polka music. He enjoyed going fishing, watching hockey and baseball. Frank was a very happy man and loved being around people. Frank is survived by his sister, Anne Marie Kangas; 5 nephews and 2 nieces. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert and best friend, Ron Kangas. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of the service.
