Frank S. Fox, 82 of Rochester, MN died Monday, February 19, 2018 at his residence. Frank Shaw Fox was born August 14, 1935 to Frank and Lura (Robertson) Fox in San Diego, CA. He graduated from Grossmont High School in San Diego, CA and was a college graduate of the University of CA at Davis. He received his Master's Degree from the University of Montana and his RN Degree from Rochester Community College. On December 10, 1960 he married Marilynn Climenhaga in Clarence Center, NY. The couple moved to Rochester, MN where he worked as a Registered Nurse at Saint Marys in the Cardiac Unit. After his retirement he worked as a volunteer for 15 years with Roving Volunteers in Christ Service (RVICS). He enjoyed riding bicycle, horseback riding and helping his neighbors and friends. Frank had been an Airman, fireman, teacher, computer programmer, farmer, Nurse and an accomplished "jack of all trades." He is survived by his wife, Marilynn of Rochester, MN; one daughter, Janell Fox of Palisade, CO; one son, Nolan (Darcy) Fox of Rochester, MN; five grandchildren, David, Derek, Ryan, Emily and McKenna; and one sister, Tudy (Pike) Hollett of Sand Point, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Christ Community Church with the Pastor Greg Loy officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will take place at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, MN.
