Frank Ellsworth Dapron

Frank E. Dapron, 88, died on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Golden Living East in Rochester.Frank was born in Lamar, CO on July 4, 1922 to Frank and Mary (Westover) Dapron. He served in the Army Air Corps as a corpsman and pilot during WWII and the Korean War. He married Carol Jean McIntire on February 21, 1957 in Los Angeles, CA.Frank worked at IBM for over 25 years. He started as a Customer Engineer and worked his way up to Senior Associate programmer. After retiring from IBM, Frank volunteered at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center teaching computer skills to inmates. Among Frank's many hobbies, calligraphy was his favorite.Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Carol, and survived by his son, Michael F. Dapron of Rochester.A private burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens with Rev.
