Floyd L. Hodge, 91, of Winona, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Sauer Memorial Home in Winona. Floyd was born June 16, 1923 in Dodge County, MN to Fred and Esther (Northway) Hodge. On February 23, 1946, Floyd married Clarice Anderson at East St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Rock Dell. Floyd and Clarice made their home in Rochester where Floyd worked at 7-UP Bottling Company. In the late 60's Floyd and Clarice moved to Winona where Floyd worked for and ultimately retired from Kujak Trucking. Clarice died in 1991. Floyd later then married Hazelmae Bakken Peterson, and she also preceded him in death in 2008.He was a veteran of the US Army, proudly serving his country during WWII. He is survived by his children, Tom (Cheryl) Hodge of Winona, MN., Gary Hodge of Minnesota City, MN., Ron (Michelle) Hodge of Pine Island, MN., Rich (Maggie) Hodge of Rochester, MN., and Judy (Charles) Prather ofWinona, MN; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ervin Hodge of Rochester, MN., Donald Hodge of Austin, MN; 2 sisters, Betty McClellan of Stewartville, MN., Cora Day of Rochester, MN; and a host of other family and friends. Floyd was preceded in death by his two spouses; 2 brothers; 3 sisters and his parents. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW., Rochester. Rev.
