Florence Jeter

Roni was born Florence Veronica Kajzar on November 4, 1927 in Grindstone, PA. She died February 20, 2017 in Rochester, MN. She grew up in Grindstone, and after high school, was recruited by the Bureau of National Affairs to work in Washington, D.C. where she met her future husband, Martin L. Jeter. After raising their children, she returned to work in 1969, employed by Bell Telephone until retiring in 1992. Among her favorite pastimes were crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and reading. She is survived by her children, Sharon Gentling (Greg), Marty (Sandy) and Chris (Shari) Jeter, her sisters. Betty Letavec (Paul) and Bernice Yankovich (Bernard), and her grandchildren, Chris Jeter and Johanna Jeter. She was preceded in death by her husband.
