Eunice Glarner

Eunice E. Glarner, 93, of Rochester, MN died Monday, June 15, 2020 at Samaritan Bethany. Eunice Evelyn Neale was born June 21, 1926 to James and Ruby (White) Neale in Delhi, MN. She graduated high school in Redwood Falls, MN. She moved to Rochester and began working at the Zumbro Hotel and the Union National Bank. On October 15, 1955 she married Charles Glarner at the Racine Methodist Church. The couple moved to Rochester and were blessed with three children. Eunice started working at Hunt Drug in 1979 where she worked until 2018. She genuinely enjoyed working with the people at Hunt Drug. She enjoyed flower gardening and took pride in the care of her home. Her family and her grandchildren were especially important to her and she always enjoyed their time spent together. The family would like to thank the staff at Samaritan Bethany and Season's Hospice for the care and compassion they gave to Eunice during her stay there. Eunice is survived by her children, Linda (Larry) Peterson of Rochester, MN, Deb (Doug) DeWeese of Goodhue, MN, and Bob (Lynn) Glarner of Mapleton, MN; seven grandsons and one great grandson, Adam (Nikki) Peterson and their son, Max, Paul Peterson, Grant Peterson, Mike DeWeese, Tim DeWeese, Jamie Glarner and Robby Glarner. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes (5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN 55901). Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place Oakwood Cemetery. Safety guidelines and masks will be required for all services.
