Eugene Davidoff

ROCHESTER -Eugene Davidoff, 71, died on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Eugene was born in St. Paul, MN on March 10, 1941 to James and Anne (Kirievsky) Davidoff. He married Marjorie Hoyoss on December 23, 1964 in St. Paul.Eugene worked in different cities for his career in finance including Joliet, IL, Arlington, VA, Washington D.C., and Greenbelt, MD before retiring in Rochester in 2004.He was very active with prison ministry.Eugene will be remembered for his extreme generosity to children and his pouring out of love to children in need. Eugene is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marjorie; seven children, Evelyn, Christopher, Jennifer, Christeen, John, Tiki, and Timothy; a brother, Alexander (Sharyn) Davidoff, of Windermere, FL; and several grandchildren. Eugene is preceded in death by his parents. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church, 800 E. Silver Lake Drive NE, with Rev. Greg Heidorn officiating.Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church.Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester. Memorials can be directed to Grace Lutheran Church.
