Ervin Ledebuhr

Ervin George Martin Ledebuhr, 93, of Rochester passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. Ervin was born on July 7, 1922 in Hart, MN.He grew up on a farm near Winona, MN.He proudly served his country and was a decorated veteran of World War II.On May 10, 1947 he married Delores Mae Schmidt in Winona, MN.They moved to Rochester, MN. In 1952.He was an engineer at AMPI for 45 years.Ervins favorite past times were reading, fishing, gardening and watching sports. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Delores; his daughters, Barbara (Donald) Prow, Bonnie Schilling, Becky Ledebuhr, all of Rochester and Belinda (Neil) Dietrich of Lakeville, MN.He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and two sisters, Ruth Lilla and Doris Cierzan both of Winona, MN.Ervin was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, and 1 sister. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes with a luncheon to follow.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials. Burial will be at a later date at the Veteran Cemetery in Preston, MN.
