ROCHESTER, MINN: Emilie A. Kaveleske, 91, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Madonna Meadows. Emilie was born September 12, 1920 to Otto R. Theel and Josephine (Rieple) Theel. She was born on a farm in Southwest Rochester, near Simpson. Emilie was a lifelong resident of the Rochester area. She was baptized, confirmed, and married at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rochester. She attended rural school and Rochester High School. On November 21, 1940, she married Harvey Kaveleske. Together they farmed in NW Rochester. They had one daughter, Nancy Jo. Emilie enjoyed farming with her husband, and attending card clubs, birthday club and senior citizen functions with her sister, Caroline Fenske. Emilie also enjoyed spending time with her two granddaughters. Emilie is survived by her Daughter, Nancy Jo (Donald) Vehrenkamp of Rochester; two granddaughters, Jill (Isaac) Rohan of Rochester, Kim (Jeff) Egan of St. Paul; sister, Caroline Fenske of Elgin and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harvey; her parents; three brothers, Richard, Martin and Herman Theel and one sister, Alvina Borgan. Emilie will be missed by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held 11:00am Monday, February 13, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church 222 6th Ave SW, Rochester, MN 55902. Visitation will be held 2:00-5:00pm Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN 55901and one hour prior to the service at church. The Rev. William Otte will be officiating with interment at Pleasant Prairie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Madonna Meadows A.L., Seasons Hospice or to Trinity Lutheran Church.
