Eloise Marion Norgren

Eloise M. Norgren, 86, of Rochester, MN, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at St. Marys Hospital. Eloise Marion Olson was born April 20, 1927 in Dassell, MN to Robert and Mildred (Adams) Olson.She graduated from Annandale High School in 1944.She married Harlan Norgren on May 30, 1946 in St. Cloud.She was a longtime real estate agent in Rochester.Harlan retired from the Mayo Clinic. Eloise was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church/ Autumn Ridge Church in Rochester.She enjoyed traveling, trailering, camping, and boating. She is survived by one son, Steve (Karen) Norgren of Rochester; one daughter, Lynn Young of Rochester; 3 grandchildren, Chris Norgren of Rochester, Nicole (Glen) Bengtsson of Carlsbad, CA, and Jesse Young of Rochester; one great-granddaughter, Celia Bengtsson of Carlsbad, CA; and one sister, Jeanette (Cleve) Downey of Bemidji, MN.She is also survived byher sister-in-laws, Joyce Waataja of Mound, MN, Shirley Waataja of Excelsior, MN, Carol Looman of Hutchinson, MN, Marleigh (Eugene) Rumsey of Kimball, MN, Sherry (Gordon) Bates of Green Isle, MN, and Diane Hess of Hutchinson, MN; and brother-in-law, Dellas (Diana) Norgren of South Haven, MN.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 7 siblings. A funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Autumn Ridge Church Timothy Chapel with Pastor Dan Farm and Pastor Karen Anderle officiating.Burial will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.A visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
