Ellen M. Arndt

Ellen Mary Arndt, 79, of Rochester, MN. died Sunday, October 23, 2016 at her home. Ellen Mary Arndt was born on July 22, 1937, in Wyoming, MN, to Frank and Constance (Gilmer) Johnson. She attended school in Bloomington, MN graduating in 1955. On July 23, 1955, she married LeRoy Arndt at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Shakopee, MN. Ellen worked as a waitress at Perkins in Rochester for over 40 years. Ellen loved her job and her customers but above all else she loved her family. Ellen is survived by her husband, LeRoy of Rochester; children, Rick (Christine) Arndt, Brenda Baker, Connie (Chris) Burkhard, Robyn (Troy) Tungland; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren , brother, Jerry Johnson and sister, Judy Pierce. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents and son, Kip Arndt. Memorial Service will be held Thursday October 27, 2016 at 11:00AM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church 1212 12th Ave. NW Rochester with Pastor Karna Hagen Moskalik officiating.
