Elinor "Elly" M. Webster

A memorial service for Elinor (Elly) M. Webster, 85, of Rochester, MN will be at 11:00am on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Burial of her cremated remains will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. Elinor Mae Fenn was born on September 5, 1929 in Oshkosh, WI to Sizzo and Ella (Madenwald) Fenn.She passed away on May 4, 2015 at her home of 60 years. Elly graduated from Oshkosh High School in Oshkosh, WI and from La Crosse State College in La Crosse, WI and received her masters degree from Western State College in Gunnison, CO.She married Richard J. Webster on June 13, 1953 in New Holstein, WI.Elly taught nurse's physical education at St. Mary's Hospital for many years and later managed Her's Womens Apparel Store at the Kahler Hotel in Rochester.She enjoyed bird watching, reading books and numerous magazines and traveling to Mazatlan & other worldly locales with her husband and other Rochester couples. Survivors include her son, Tom (Kari) Webster of Richfield, MN and her daughter, Susan (Brian) Boucher of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Ben and Sophie Webster and Megan, Charlie and Abby Boucher; and her 96 year-old sister, Edythe Aggen of New Holstein, WI.Elinor was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Robert and Elbert. Memorials are suggested to Salem Road Covenant Church or the Mayo Clinic.
