Eleonore "Nora" E. Dronkert Albert

Eleonore Nora Dronkert Albert of Rochester passed away on July 29, 2015. Nora was born June 29, 1926 in Loemadjang, Indonesia in East Java.At age 5, she moved to the Netherlands. She began her teaching carrier in Amsterdam at a Montessori. She emigrated to the United States in the late 1950s and settled in Rochester. In 1965, she resumed teaching at an Elementary school and was beloved by all of her students, colleagues and the local community. She later married Dr. Al Albert of the Mayo Clinic. She is survived by her sister Tine Becker, nephews Ed Becker, Bruce Becker, David Becker and Greg Dronkert, niece Ana Egnew , grand nephew, Gerrit Egnew and grand nieces, Kathryn Egnew, Emilia Dronkert and her namesake Ellenore Becker.
