Eldon Lee Moe, age 77, of Rochester and formerly of Hayfield passed away Friday November 29, 2013 at Maple Manor Health Care Center.Eldon was born February 16, 1936 in Vernon Township near Hayfield, MN to Alfred & Cora (Alrick) Moe.He was a graduate of Kasson High School, and then served in the US Army from 1954-1956.After returning from his military service he married Mildred Millie Hisey on August 8, 1959 in Chatfield.Mr. Moe worked for 31 years for Marigold Foods in Rochester, was a longtime member of Bethel Lutheran Church, and enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, visiting the casino's, and he was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Millie Moe of Rochester, his children: Pamela Fuller (Donald) of Rochester and Jeffrey Moe of Rochester and 2 granddaughters Jennifer Nelson (Dan) and Stephanie Fuller.(fiancee Matthew Barnett)His sister, Carol Derby (Dan) of Inver Grove Heights, MN.He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Verlyn Bob Moe and Loren Moe and an infant son Duane. Memorial services will be held 11 AM Tuesday December 3, 2013 at Bethel Lutheran Church 810 3rd Ave SE Rochester, MN.With visitation one hour prior to services at the church.Burial with military honors will take place 1:30 PM Tuesday at West St. Olaf Cemetery in rural Hayfield.
