Eileen Broadbent

A memorial service for Eileen F. Broadbent, 67, of Rochester, MN will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Private family inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Eileen Frances Broadbent was born on June 19, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA to James and Edna (Bailey) Broadbent.She passed away on October 21, 2014 at Golden Living East in Rochester. Eileen moved with her family to Rochester in 1949.She attended John Marshal High School and much later proudly completed her GED in 2007.Eileen volunteered at Maple Manor Nursing Home.Autumn Ridge and St. Luke's Episcopal Church were a big part of her life and she loved her church family and friends. Survivors include her father, James Broadbent of Rochester, MN; her brothers and sisters, Steve (Kenna) Broadbent of Groton, Mass, Kathy (Richard) Broadbent of New Hope, MN, Rob (K'Lea) Broadbent of Victor, ID, John (Roxanne) Broadbent of Denver, CO and Jamie (Katie) Broadbent of Portland, Maine; four nieces, two nephews and one grandnephew. She was preceded in death by her mother. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Kathy Larson for all the loving care and support she provided Eileen.The family appreciates the care Eileen received with Golden Living East and Seasons Hospice.
