Edward H. Singfiel

Edward Henry Singfiel, 84, of Rochester died on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at his home. He was born on July 19, 1932 in Rochester to Albert and Elva (Laabs) Singfiel. Edward attended Fitch Country School in Haverhill Township and graduated from Rochester Senior High School in 1950. He served in the United States Army 6th armed division at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri in January of 1955 during the Korean Conflict. He worked on the family farm with his brother and sisters his whole life. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening and following High School Sports. Survivors include his brother, Theodore Singfiel of Dodge Center; nieces and nephews and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Nathaniel Schwartz officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church.
