ROCHESTER, MINN: Edith Rose Davis, 94, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Madonna Towers. Edith was born January 15, 1918 in Montevideo to Henry and Lulu (Fuller) Lofthus. On January 15, 1938, Edith married Stanley Davis. She was a member of Zumbro Lutheran Church. Edith enjoyed playing bridge along with many other card games, going bowling and watching old movies. She was a Twins fan, enjoyed interior decorating which included the original Ranfranz and Vine location and she was known as 4XW, the world's worst worry wart. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and creating memories. Edith is survived by her daughter, Heather Tarara of Rochester; sister, Mary Loomis of San Fransisco, CA; 5 grandchildren, Erik, Christiaan, Sara, Andrew, Benjamin; 10 great-grandchildren, Brittainy, Nathaniel, Collin, Spencer, Maxwell, Rylee, Jacob, Natalie, Samuel, Laney, and great, great-granddaughter, Ariana. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Stanley; daughter, Gwen Middleton; parents; 3 sisters and 1 brother. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
