Duane David Mahon

ROCHESTER, MN:Duane D. Mahon, 49, died Friday, November 8, 2013 doing what he enjoyed, working outdoors. Duane David Mahon was born November 11, 1963 to William and Darlene (Bemmert) Mahon in Rochester, MN. He attended Rochester John Marshall High School. Duane worked as a carpet installer for Bowers Carpet Installation. He loved working outdoors. Duane enjoyed mowing, blowing snow, snowmobiling, hunting, motor cross, cutting firewood; and especially spending time with his daughter Britney. Duane is survived by his mother Darlene Mahon, Rochester, MN; his daughter Britney Mahon, Ostrander, MN; his significant other Linda Maccini, Rochester, MN; his sister Monica (Boyd Gasner Jr.) Hammill, Eyota, MN; his two brothers, Robert (Sue Lindberg) Mahon, Coon Rapids, MN and Jeff (Lisa) Mahon, Rochester, MN. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father William, and his nephew William E. Schmoll. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes. A private family service and burial will be held at a later date.
