Dr. Carmen Radecki Breitkopf, age 50, of Rochester, MN died Thursday, April 25, 2019 at her residence of natural causes. Carmen Radecki was born August 23, 1968 in Buffalo, NY to William and Diana (Olinski) Radecki. She graduated high school in Clarence, NY. She attended Canisius College in Buffalo, NY and received her PHD at SUNY in Albany, NY. She did her post-doctoral fellowship in San Francisco, CA. On August 19, 2001 in Scotia, NY she married Daniel Breitkopf. She worked in Galvaston, TX and moved to Rochester in 2010 where she became a Professor of Health Services Research and Consultant. Her research focused on addressing health disparities and women's cancer screening. She loved to bike and her dog, John. She enjoyed the winter time and especially enjoyed the mountains and being outdoors. Carmen is survived by her husband, Daniel of Rochester, MN; her mother, Diana Radecki of Clarence, NY; one sister, Deborah (Larry) Griffin of Cheektowaga, NY; and one brother, William T. (Angela) Radecki of Cheektowaga, NY. She was preceded in death by her father, William C. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Pax Christi Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
