Dorothy L. Kline

Dorothy L. Kline, age 99, of Rochester, MN died Sunday, April 14, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. Dorothy Louise Kline was born April 17, 1919 in Milaca, Minnesota the youngest child of John and Ellen (Kittel) DeMar. She was a graduate of Milaca High School. Dorothy met Ralph Kline and they were married May 11, 1946 in Milaca, Minnesota. They settled in Minneapolis, Minnesota where Dorothy worked as a secretary for an insurance business. In March of 2007, they moved to Rochester, Minnesota and resided at Shorewood Commons. Dorothy and Ralph shared 67 years of marriage. Dorothy is survived by her nieces, Colleen (Scott) Arnold of Rochester, MN, Darleen (Tony) Esposito of Fort Myers, FL, Patricia (Al) Akerson of Sioux Falls, SD; great nieces and nephews, Scott R. Arnold of Rochester, MN, Jeff (Lura) Arnold of Grayslake, IL, Joel (Melissa) Arnold of Savage, MN, Lori Hoppa of Rochester, MN, Becca Bruning of Sioux Falls, SD, Sarah (Justin) Stirt of Breckenridge, CO, Drew Ann Fitzpatrick of Zimmerman, MN, Jim (Anna) Metcalf of Las Vegas, NV, Patrick (Yasuko) Metcalf of Schaumburg, IL; great great nieces and nephews; special longtime friend, Marlene Baker of Farmington, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Kline; sister, Lorraine Blume; brother, Lester DeMar. Graveside services will be held 1:15 pm Friday, April 19, 2019 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
