Dorothy Jean Knapp

ROCHESTER -Dorothy J. Knapp, 64, died on September 18, 2011 in Rochester. Dorothy was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on February 22, 1947 to L. Robert and Lavina (Host) Heitz.She moved to Rochester nine years ago to be close to her family.Dorothy was a member of the Rochester AAUW (American Association of University Women).She loved reading and spending time with her grandkids. Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Jodi (Jon) Kruse, of Rochester; two grandchildren, Zoie and Henry Kruse, of Rochester; and two brothers, Daniel (Linda) Heitz, of Springfield, VA and Gary (Barb) Heitz, of Grand Rapids, MI. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents. Services will take place at a later date in Grand Rapids, MI. Memorials can be directed to the Hope Lodge, 411 2nd St. NW, Rochester, MN.
