Doris Anna Hawkins

Doris Anna Hawkins, 89, of Rochester, passed away peacefully Monday, January 27, 2014, at St. Marys Hospital. Doris was born June 10, 1924 in Racine, MN., to Adolph and Freda (Kroll) Schleusner. In March 1943, Doris married Earl Fredrickson and he preceded her in death. In 1975, Doris married James Hawkins and they later divorced. Doris worked at Subway from 1990 until she retired in 2005. Doris is survived by her children, Richard Fredrickson of Rochester and Connie Engle of Rochester; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 5 stepchildren, and 3 step-grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; son, Steven; grandson, Jamie; parents; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, January 29, 2014 and 1 hour prior to the service all at the funeral home. Interment will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
