Donna M. Beyer

ROCHESTER, MINN:Donna M. Beyer, 90, died January 25, 2015 at Cottagewood Senior Communities. Donna Marie Putratz was born June 25, 1924 to Herman and Frieda (Hannenberger) Putratz in Eyota, MN. She graduated from Eyota High School and attended Winona State University for two years. Donna married Vincent Carl Beyer on June 30, 1945 in Rochester.Donna did clerical work at the Olmsted County Courthouse and worked as a waitress at various restaurants in Rochester. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, crocheting, reading, taking long drives and eating ice cream cones. Donna loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Donna is survived by her children; Toni (Darrell) Trygstad, Lakeville, MN, Gerald (Shirley) Beyer, Byron, MN, Lorris (Larry) Thornton, Shakopee, MN, Gail (Rick) Phelps, Byron, MN, Mark Beyer, Rochester, MN and Carla Borgen, Rochester, MN; 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vincent and a son Jeffery. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes' Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Rochester, MN. Memorials are suggested to the donors choice.
