Donna Jean Steward

Donna Jean Steward, 80, of Rochester, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 21, 2015. Donna was born March 5, 1935 in Rochester to George and Doris (Owen) Schaffer. Donna moved to Minneapolis at the age of 5 and returned to Rochester in 1970. On December 20, 1970, she married Maurice Steward. Donna worked as a secretary for Volkswagon for numerous years. Donna was a member of Calvary Evangelical Free Church. She enjoyed reading, playing piano and ceramics. Donna is survived by her children, Pamela (Richard) Herman of Rochester, Patty (Mark) Haywood of Blaine, MN., Stacy (David) White of Maple Grove, MN; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 3 sisters. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice; 2 brothers and a grandson. There will be a private family service.
