Donald Lewis Brown

Donald Lewis Brown, 61, of Rochester, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at his residence. Donald was born April 1, 1953 in Rochester to Charles and Ida (Johnson) Brown. He was a graduate of John Marshall High School. Don worked at Pace Dairy for over 20 years. He was a veteran and proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps. He enjoyed gold prospecting, fishing, bowling, and riding his motorcycle, which included his annual trip to Sturgis. Don also enjoyedgoing to auctions, collecting pictures, baseball cards and brass items. Above all, Don loved spending time with his family. Don is survived by his siblings, Cheryl (Jerry) Horning of Pine Island, MN., Charles Brown of Ostrander, MN., Phyllis Miller of Douglas, MN., Nancy Tiabo of Rochester, MN., Richard Brown of Ostrander, MN., Susan Brown of Oronoco, MN and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ida. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
