Dolores Bierbaum

Funeral services for Dolores E. Bierbaum, 97, of Rochester will be at 11:00am on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester. Dolores Eleanor Bruemmer was born on July 5, 1920 in Elgin to Louis and Mae (Stahl) Bruemmer. She died on November 8, 2017 at Cottagewood in Rochester. Dolores graduated from Elgin High School and married Glenn Bierbaum on December 2, 1944 at St. Paul's Church in Eyota. The couple made their home in Eyota and moved to Rochester in 1950. Dolores was a great story-teller and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed her flower garden, canning, fishing and traveling. Survivors include her son, Kenneth (KayAnn) Bierbaum of Rochester; five grandchildren, Robyn Holm, Holly (Jeremy) Johnson, Alissa (Isaac) Wolfgram, Kristen Bierbaum and Ryan Bierbaum and five great grandchildren, Mikayla, Nathan, Lincoln, Jaxson and Emma. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, daughter, Janice and one sister.
