Diane H. Tucker

Diane H. Tucker, 80, of Rochester, MN passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Cottagewood Senior Community in Rochester, MN.

Diane Hazel Tucker was born January 6, 1944 in Hayfield, MN the daughter of Dayton and Hazel (Exe) Lee. She grew up and attended school in Hayfield, MN. She married Ellsworth Tucker on June 25, 1960 at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church. The couple lived in Rock Dell and moved to Rochester in 1964. Diane was a school crossing guard for 38 years. She also worked in various food service positions and was a food sampler at Kwik Trip for 13 years.

Diane enjoyed bowling, farming, gardening, cooking, canning and baking. She enjoyed her social time, playing cards and was a faithful member of Bethel Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her two daughters, Debra (Chris) Bathke of Rochester, MN and Sharon (Daryl Jans) Tucker of Daytona Beach Shores, FL; her son, Roland (Mary Kay Keller) Tucker of Rochester, MN; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her brother, Allen (Julie) Lee of Riceville, IA and her sister, Delores Fjerstad of Hayfield, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ellsworth Tucker, two sisters, Mary Behne and Norma Johnson.

A Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Bethel Lutheran Church (810 3rd Avenue SE Rochester, MN). Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester, MN. A reception will follow the service.

Memorials are preferred to Bethel Lutheran Church or Dementia Research.
