Diane "Schultzie" Marie Schultz

Diane M. Schultzie Schultz, 60, of Rochester, died Friday, March 30, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital after fighting a fierce battle with cancer. Diane Marie Schultz was born July 4, 1951 in Rochester to Alex and Gladys (Weeks) Schultz.She grew up on the George Baihly farm estate.She graduated from Mayo High School in 1970.She worked at the Hollywood Bar, the Labor Club for 4 years, and the V.F.W. Post #1215 for the past 23 years.Diane enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, gambling, spending time with Kathy Mitchell at the Mississippi River, and enjoyed her time at work with Denise Gifford, and spending time with her family and two sons. Diane is survived by her two sons, Donald Donny Schultz and Dustin Schultz with fiance Kimberly McAllister, both of Rochester; her mother, Gladys Schultz of Rochester; ten siblings, Larry (Sharon) Schultz of Red Wing, MN, LaVonne (Dale) Cooper of Rochester, Betty (Don) Bolanda of Apple Valley, MN, Richard Schultz of Rochester, her twin brother, David (Mary) Schultz of Brownwood, TX, Susan Schultz of Rochester, Pam Stanley of Rochester, Vickie Kaye of Deer River, MN, Bev Schultz of Rochester, and Roger (Pamela) Schultz of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father, Alex Schultz; her niece, Stacy Wood; and two brothers-in-law, Kent Reeves and Randy Kaye. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes' Chapel.Burial will be held in Wildwood Cemetery in Wasioja, MN.A visitation will be from 5:00 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
