Dennis Danny Robert Velez-Remedios,age 54, of Rochester, suddenly passed on Sunday October 23, 2016, at his home. The visitation will be held on Thursday October 27, 2016, from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes. The burial service will be held on Friday October 28, 2016, at 10:00 am at Oakwood East Cemetery in Rochester. Danny was born on August 17,1962, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the son of Carmelo Roberto Velez and Patria Remedios.He served in the United States Army for 9 1/2 years and was honorably discharged. He was survived by his loving family, Jacqueline Kreter, Dennis Lawrence, Jorge Velez, Teresa Velez, Cristian Velez and Maria Magdalena Velez. Dennis dedicated his life to the care and welfare of his family with unconditional love. He was the best example of a loving father.
