Dennis J. Owen

Dennis J. Owen, 64, of Rochester, MN passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at his residence. Dennis Jay Owen was born November 2, 1952 to Thomas and Laura (Schriever) Owen in Zumbrota, MN. Dennis graduated from Mayo High School. Dennis worked for the Railroad in South Dakota and for Crenlow in Rochester. He also worked in Rochester at the Elks, Wades Broiler as a cook and Snappy Stop. Dennis is survived by his children, Corey (fiance Anna) Owen of Rochester and Nick (Kara) Owen of Apple Valley; six grandchildren; and his siblings, Wayne (Pat) Owen, Carol (Bill) Larson, Don (Linda) Owen, Diane (Pat) OConnor all of Rochester and Bernard Owen of Byron. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister. There will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Christ Lutheran Church (2904 20th Street SE) with the Reverend Scott Schilbe officiating.
