Dennis F. Peters, Jr.

Dennis F. Peters Jr, age 50, of Rochester, died on Monday, April 6, 2015, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus in Rochester, MN. He was born on January 20, 1965, in Fort Rucker, Alabama, to Dennis Peters and Susan (Staggert) Day. Dennis attended Mayo High School in Rochester. He worked at Kemps Dairy for over 25 years. Dennis enjoyed fishing, outdoors, football, and spending time with his family. Dennis is survived by his children, Alex and Carrie Peters, both of Rochester; father,Dennis (Inge) Peters Sr. of Rochester; mother, Susan Day of Rochester; sister, Mary Aakre of Minneapolis, MN; brother, Jim (Tricia) Peters of Rice, MN; and nephew, Jacob Peters. Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Peters; paternal and maternal grandparents, Fred and Della Peters and Al and Ruth Staggert. The memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN 55901. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The inurnment will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Memorials are preferred to Dennis' family.
