Delton W. Zeitler

Delton Warren Zeitler, 86, of Rochester, MN. died on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Grand Meadow Health Care Center in Grand Meadow, MN. Delton was born on August 10, 1927 in Dover Township, MN. to Emil and Lula (Stevens) Zeitler.He graduated from Dover High School in 1945 and married Nina Martin in 1950.They later divorced.On August 26, 1962, he married Ann Schumacher in Pine City, Minnesota.His primary occupation was a sales representative for twenty seven years with New Holland Farm Machinery.Delton enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed travel and was a fan of movies about the Old West. Delton is survived by his wife, Ann of Rochester; sons, Kevin (Kari) Zeitler of Chico, CA., Morgan (Carolyn) Zeitler of Caspar, CA, Jon (Molly) Zeitler of New Brauufels, TX, Mark (Kristine) Zeitler of Byron, MN; and daughter, Julie (Raja) Chaudhuri of Lakeville, MN; thirteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Susan Elizabeth; two brothers, Henry and Richard; two sisters, Ruby Wingert and Eileen Schwebke; and his former wife. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW in Rochester, MN. The burial and graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Birchwood Cemetery in Pine City, MN. Memorials may be designated to a charity of the donors choice.
