Debra Ann Ferrie

BYRON, MINN:Debra Ann Ferrie, 59, died Saturday, June 7, 2014 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN. Debra Ann Donovan was born March 16, 1955 to Howard and Bernice (King) Donovan in Austin, MN. She graduated from Hayfield High School in 1973.Debra worked for Farmstead in Albert Lea, MN and Hormel in Austin, MN. She currently worked for Mayo Clinic for thirteen years. Debra married Kevin Ferrie on July 4, 2009 on Lake Pepin. Debra enjoyed the outdoors, water, dancing, roller skating, and cooking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and entertaining her family and friends. Debra is survived by her husband Kevin Ferrie, Byron, MN; her two daughters, Candi (Alex) Brown, Escondido, CA and Tanya (Chris) Carr, Eden Prairie, MN; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Richard (Karen) Donovan, Colorado Springs, CO and Kenneth (Lorrie) Donovan, Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, a brother Dean and a grand daughter Nadja. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested.
