Deanna Hahn

Deanna Cheryl Hahn, 78, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Cottagewood Senior Communities in Rochester, MN.

Deanna Cheryl Hahn was born on January 1, 1946 in Fillmore County to Clarence and Leila (Anderson) Dyreson in Preston, MN. She attended Lanesboro High School.

Deanna was united in marriage to David Hahn on May 13, 1967 in Rochester, MN. The couple made their home in Eyota, MN. David has passed away on September 26, 2008. Deanna previously worked in nursing homes in Crystal, MN. as well as at Wonderbread Bakery in Rochester, MN. While living in Eyota, she took very much pleasure and provided daycare for her next-door neighbors, Todd and Sue Stettler's children, Kendra, Tyler and Seth. Deanna and Dave loved these children as their own. Deanna always loved her kitties and was never done talking to many about them. She was a great caretaker to her husband David while he was ill. She also loved listening to music along with her coffee.

She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Eyota, MN. Deanna loved all of her nieces and nephews and all of her family.

She is survived by her two brothers, D. John (Lois) Dyreson of Winona, MN and Kenneth Dyreson of Junction City, KS; sister-in-law, Bernie Dyreson; several nieces and nephews; and her Kitty, Cindy that has since found a new home with a nurse from Cottagewood. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Clarence and Leila Dyreson; her husband, David; a sister, Joyce Dornink; and brothers Clarence and Roger Dyreson.

Deanna and her kitty, Cindy, will be missed by many.

The family would like to give a special thank you to St. Croix Hospice, the staff at Cottagewood Senior Communities and Pastor Jon from Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Eyota, MN for his visits to Deanna while she was at Cottagewood.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes (5421 Royal Pl. NW, Rochester, MN 55901). Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 10:00am. A burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester, Mn.
