David Milliken

David Norman Milliken Sr. passed away peacefully in his home on the morning of February 2nd, 2025. David was born August 13, 1940, in Timber Lake, South Dakota, to Robert and LeVera Milliken.

David met and married Judy, the love of his life, on February 16, 1958, on their first date. He worked as a truck driver and in road construction. David and Judy raised 6 children before his retirement in 1983. After retiring, David and Judy owned several businesses which kept David busy during his early retirement, and after selling the businesses purchased a motor home to follow their dreams of traveling. David and Judy traveled extensively throughout the US for many years, going as far as Alaska in their home on wheels. They enjoyed seeing the countryside together, until 2015 when they purchased their current home in Zumbrota, MN.

David is survived by his wife Judy; Children Theresa (Bruce) Jeske, David (Janelle) Milliken, LeRoy (Teana) Milliken, Ken (Marsha) Milliken, Ann (Mark) Kolb, Robert (Marta) Milliken, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, brothers Ray and John Milliken, and sisters Mollie (Leo) Riess and Velma (Art) Honeyman.

David is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 20th at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes from 3-6 pm (5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HeartFund.
