Dave became a policeman in Pomona, CA. During that time, he also completed his college degree. Seven years later, he was given medical retirement due to an injury incurred. A few years later, he decided to attend Lutheran Seminary and become a Pastor. His ministry was in southern Minnesota with churches in Rochester, Elgin, St. Charles, and Winona.
Dave is survived by his wife, Sandy; children, Eric, Brent, and Heather, all of Rochester, MN; grandchildren, Isabella, Alivia, and Thane; great grandson, Julian; two brothers, Jim, and Charles; as well as many nieces and nephews.
