David Guenther

David Dale Guenther, age 59, of Rochester, passed away at home on February 22, 2025. He was born on July 6, 1965, to Dale and Dorothy (Holstad) Guenther.

A proud graduate of John Marshall High School, Class of 1983, David was known for his commitment to hard work. He held various jobs in the area, from vending machine stocker to his most recent gig delivering pizzas for Domino's and Pizza Hut. His bright smile and friendly demeanor made him a favorite among customers and colleagues alike.

David was a father to his sons, James (Kim) Guenther and Sean (fiancé Ashley Eastep) Atherton-Guenther, and he took pride in being a grandfather to Michael, Jordy, and Riley. He is also survived by his brother, Doug (Jodi) Guenther. David cherished his family time and loved watching his Vikings play, proudly wearing his purple and gold.

David was preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law, Kendra Atherton-Guenther.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, at 11 AM at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, located at 5421 Royal Pl NW, Rochester, MN 55901. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Blair, Wisconsin.
