Darlene Janet (Peck) Parker The funeral service for Darlene J Parker will be held at 1:00 P.M. at Ranfranz Vine on 8/13/2016 with visitation two hours prior from 11-1pm. Darlene J. Parker 76 of Rochester passed away peacefully on 8/9/2016 at home from pancreatic cancer. Darlene Janet Nelson was born on November 1st 1939 to Archie and Frances (Brown) Nelson in Rochester MN. She attended and graduated from Rochester High School. On 10/18/1958 Darlene married Robert (Bud) Peck. They had 2 boys Ron and Lynn. They later divorced. On March 13th 1987 Darlene married Alfred Parker. Al had 10 children. Dar worked at Elektro Assemblies and Rochester State Hospital as a supervisor. She retired from food service with Rochester Public schools. . Dar and Al also did some adult foster care out of their house for Larry and Janis. Dar loved to travel and camp in their motor home. They also traveled to Donna Texas for the winters, where they enjoyed jamborees and country music. She loved to dance, play cards and spend time with family and friends. Dars grandchildren and great grandchildren put a sparkle in her eye. Darlene is survived by her husband Al of 29 years. Two sons Ronald (Dawn) Peck of Rochester and Lynn R Peck of Hayfield. 9 step children Mike Parker, Liz (Hart) Holmberg, Jerry Parker, Debra (Leroy) Kukacka, Lynda (John) Segal, Cindy (Rodney) Bakke, Dan Parker, Al (Carrie) Parker, Ed Parker. One sister Beverly Baker, 2 brothers Ron (Judy) Nelson and Mike (Sandy) Nelson. 9 Grandchildren, 15 Great grandchildren, 27 step grandchildren and 19 step great grandchildren. Dar was proceeded in death by her parents Archie and Frances (Brown) Nelson. Sisters Rosemary Clawson and Barb Paulson. Step son Sam Parker.
