In high school he met his wife, Becky Warner. They were high school sweethearts and went on to attend college together at the University of Minnesota. On August 21, 1993 they were married in his parents beautiful backyard on a sunny afternoon. On September 22, 2016 Daniel passed away unexpectedly following an acute illness at St. Marys Hospital. He enjoyed traveling abroad and exploring new places with Becky and their children. You could often find him enjoying the outdoors, downhill or cross-country skiing, hiking up north with his family, playing tennis, or cheering on his children, Alec and Paige, during their tennis matches, or fishing and playing golf with his son. Survivors include his wife Becky Sargent and their children, Alec Reed Sargent and Paige Kathryn Sargent; his brother Nicholas and Nina Sargent and their children Sophie, Max, and Jay; his parents Forrest and Faye Sargent and his in-laws, Jerry and Barb Warner.
