Daelon Engel

Daelon Joseph Engel was born on July 30, 2000, to his loving parents Zachary Braid and Jen Engel in Rochester, Minnesota. After attending school in Plainview, MN, Daelon graduated from John Marshall High School in 2019. Daelon joined the National Guard and went on to work various construction jobs and trade certifications in the Rochester area before starting his career at Bevcomm in Pine Island, MN.

Daelon enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, autocross, golf, softball, hanging out and spending time with friends and family.

Daelon is survived by his mother, Jen Engel; father, Zach (Erin) Braid, bonus mom, Katie Poser; siblings Adam, Taylor, Jenna, Olivia, Henrik, and Madie; grandparents Dennis Engel, Richard (Lisa) Braid, Anne Braid, Jon (Mary) Belanger, Glenn (Lois) Poser; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles; and girlfriend, Shaelyn.

Daelon is preceded in death by his grandmother, Letty Engel; and cousin Atein Engel.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes (5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN).
