Cynthia Heins

Cynthia A. Heins, 69, of Rochester, MN passed away on January 16, 2025 at Riverbend Assisted Living in Rochester.

Cynthia was born on May 2, 1955, to Robert and Imogene (Hadoff) Jacobson in Lanesboro, MN. She moved to Rochester at a young age and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1973. She was married for fourteen years and had three children. Cynthia worked at Mayo Clinic for 26 years. She had been living at Riverbend Assisted Living for the past 6 years.

Cynthia enjoyed gardening, baking, spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was a very spiritual person who had a love of animals and listening to records.

She is survived by her children, Lisa (Shawn) Johnson, Amy Heins (Joseph Halleland), and Thomas (Dana) Heins; 6 grandchildren, Shantell, Tommy, Davis, Destiny, Tayah and Jayden; siblings, Debbie (Paul) Guiher, Scott (Debbie) Jacobson, and Curt Jacobson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1212 12th Ave NW, Rochester, MN. Visitation will be from 4-7pm on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family requests memorials be made to the Dementia Society or Paws and Claws.
