Corrine Dickman passed away April 4, 2018 at Samaritan Bethany Home on Eighth. Corrine (Corky) Irene Dickman was born October 20, 1922 in Minneapolis, MN to Fred and Irene Wendorf. The family moved to California where Corky received her education and graduated from high school. Corky attended St. Gabriel's School of Nursing in Little Falls, MN. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Olmsted Community Hospital and the Olmsted County Health Department. Corky also worked as a private duty nurse for polio patients in iron lungs at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rochester, MN. On May 14, 1949 she was united in marriage to Clair Dickman at Trinity Lutheran Church. Corky enjoyed reading, playing cards and a good cup of coffee. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a volunteer at Rochester Central Lutheran School and Samaritan Bethany. She is survived by her son Tom (Joyce) Dickman of Rochester, MN; grandchildren Eric (Colleen) Dickman of Rochester, MN., Andy Dickman of Maple Grove, MN. and Katy Lund of Sartell, MN; great-grandchildren Emily Dickman, Matthew Dickman and Carson Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband Clair, her daughter Lynda Lund and her brother Jim Wendorf. The family would like to thank Pastor Joel Haak and the staff of Samaritan Bethany and Seasons Hospice. The family prefers memorials to a charity of the donor's choice. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Rochester.
