Clifford S. Ford

ROCHESTER, MINN: Clifford S. Ford, 76, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at his residence. Clifford was born September 29, 1935 in Murdock, MN to Merritt Mert and Eke Ada (Fischer) Ford. Clifford married Janet Silker on April 7, 1956 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rochester. He was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where he was active in the church. Clifford enjoyed woodworking, restoring old cars and furniture, cooking, camping, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching and cheering for the Twins, Vikings and Gophers. Above all, Clifford loved spending time with his loving family, creating many wonderful memories. Clifford is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Janet; children, Harold (Donna) Ford of Stewartville, Renata (Mark) Iverson of Rochester, Laura (Corey) West of Stewartville, Bill (Patty) Ford of Byron, Annetta Nettie Ford Roadas of Rochester; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Bob) Earles of Pearland, TX; brothers, Raymond (Carmen) Ford of Germany and Harvey (Joan) Ford of Moundsview, MN. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; 2 granddaughters; 1 sister and 2 brothers. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 222 6th Ave SW, Rochester, MN 55902. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00pm Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester and one hour prior to the service at church. The Rev.
