ROCHESTER -Cleone L. MacLean, 86, died on Monday, Janaury 30, 2012 at Sunrise Cottages in Rochester. Cleone was born in Owatonna, MN on February 19, 1925 to Vernon and Loretta (Spies) Denker. She was raised in Owatonna and graduated in 1943.Cleone worked in a farm implement store in Owatonna before moving to Rochester in 1950.She then worked at Mayo in the Phlebotomy Department eventually becoming an assistant supervisor.Cleone retired from Mayo in 1989.She enjoyed flowers and needlepoint. Cleone is survived by four children, Gary (Rae Ann) Denker, of Rochester, Kevin MacLean, of Rochester, Lisa (Gene) Guinn, of Armstrong, IA, and Jaime (Carla) MacLean, of Rochester; a sister Bonnie (Dale) Jensen, of Apple Valley, MN; two grandchildren, James Allan Denker, of Rochester and John Garret Denker, of Rochester; and a great grandchild, Summer Denker, of Rochester. Cleone is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Scott Allan Denker. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home with Rev. Karna Hagen officiating.Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials can be directed to the American Cancer Society.
