Christina Marie Frechette

Christina Marie Frechette, M.D. 42, of Rochester, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at St. Marys Hospital. Christina was born March 6, 1971 in North Kansas City, Missouri, to Michael and Nancy (Istas) Muehl. She graduated medical school in 1999 from the University of Minnesota. On August 22, 1992, Christina married Thomas Frechette in Ham Lake, MN. She worked as aphysician at Mayo Clinic. Christina was an avid reader, enjoyed art, drawing and had a great love for her cats. Above all, Christina loved spending time and making memories with her family, especially her daughter, Kelsey. Christina is survived by her husband, Thomas; daughter, Kelsey; mother, Nancy Muehl of Minneapolis, KS; sisters, Melinda (Kevin) Pazen of Ramsey, MN, Melissa (Jeff) Delaney of Elkhorn, NE, Teresa Kaelin of Elkhorn, NE; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Rita Frechette; best friend, Karin Hagen and numerous nieces and nephews. Christina was preceded in death by her father, Michael and by her paternal and maternal grandparents. Throughout Christina's heroic battles, you fought by her side. You became family to us. A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Pax Christi Catholic Church, 4135 18th Ave. NW, Rochester, MN 55901. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church. Father Joe Fogal will be officiating with inurnment at a later date.
