Christian W. Fromdahl

Christian Wayne Fromdahl, 73, died on April 10, 2021 at his home in Rochester, Minnesota. Christian was born on May 8, 1947 to parents, Benard and Helen (Clement) Fromdahl in Lincoln, Nebraska. Upon graduating from John Marshall High School in 1965, Christian joined the United States Army and served from 1966 to 1968. He owned and operated auto body shops in Kasson and outside of Rochester. He started working at Mayo Clinic and retired there after 36 years. On September 4, 1993 Christian was united in marriage to Diane Dickman in Rochester. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to car shows and looking at classic cars, camping, and traveling. Christian is survived by his wife, Diane Fromdahl; children, Michelle (Richard) Zoppa of Marysville, OH, Dale Vandezande of Rochester, MN, Adam Fromdahl of Rochester, MN, Matthew (Nicole) Fromdahl of Rushford, MN; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and his sister, Cheryl (Dan) House of Lake Wylie, SC. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Peggy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Pl NW, Rochester, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
