Charlotte E. Wallar

BLOOMINGTON -Charlotte E. Wallar, 92, died on Monday, July 28, 2014 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Charlotte was born in Minneapolis on August 30, 1921 to Albert and Annie (Ecklund) Olson.She married Alf H. Jensen in 1940 and together they had five wonderful children.Alf died in 1963.Charlotte later married William W. Wallar.Charlotte was a loving mother and wife to her family. Above all she enjoyed her friendship and companionship of her siblings and their families. Charlotte is survived by two sons, Darrell (Maureen Merriam) Jensen, of Anoka, MN, and Phillip (Jodi) Jensen, of Woodbury, MN; two daughters, Darnell (William) Needham, of Kent, WA, and Diane (Douglas) Page, of Dodge Center, MN; two siblings, Elsie Nelson and Arnold Arnie (Elma) Olson; seven grandchildren, Shan Needham, Dana McLean, Wendy Reynolds, Andrea Jensen, Christine Furchner, Maggie Jensen, and Emma Jensen; many great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Charlotte is preceded in death by her husbands, Alf and William; a daughter, Phyllis Kneeland; brothers, Harvey (Marie) Peterson, George (Francis) Olson, and Harold Hudda (Nettie) Olson; and sisters, Joyce (Walter) Lortis, and Margaret (Lawrence) Robillard. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1 - 4 P.M. on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Morris Nilsen Funeral Home, 6527 Portland Ave. South in Richfield, MN.
