Charles F. Hoyc

Charles F. Hoye, 80, of Rochester, MN passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his daughters home. Charles Francis Hoye was born August 3, 1935 to William and Mabel (Mattison) Hoye in Saint Paul, MN.Charles was raised in Saint Paul, graduating from Johnson High School in 1953.He attended Northwestern Electronics in Saint Paul and worked at Honeywell in Minneapolis.Charles married Doris Bartholomew on May 11, 1963 in Saint Paul.The couple lived in Saint Paul until moving to Rochester in 1983. Doris passed away in 2011.Throughout his time in Rochester, Charles worked at Waters Instruments, Rainbow Foods and Kwik Trip.Charles was a very spiritual man and enjoyed sports and old time country music. Charles is survived by his children, Rick (Stacey) of Rochester, Kelly (Bradley) Cisewski of Rochester and Connie (Richard) Feckers of Belle Plaine; eight grandchildren, Andrew, AmberLee, Ariel, Jeremiah, Megan, Afton, Noah and Hunter; one brother, William (Thelma) Hoye, Jr. of White Bear Lake; and his sister, Nancy (Dan) Olson of Rochester.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and one sister, Susan Sundheim. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness 921 W. Frontage Road S.W. in Rochester.
