Charlene Brehmer

A memorial service for Charlene L. Brehmer, 92, of Rochester, Minnesota will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rochester. Visitation will be a half hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery immediately following the service.

Charlene LaVonne Banick was born on September 11, 1932, in Rochester to Alfred and Ella (Frutiger) Banick. She passed away on February 6, 2025, at her home.

Charlene graduated from Rochester High School and attended Rochester Junior College. She was an office manager for Bachman's Flowers and later worked for the Mayo Foundation House. In December of 1951 she married Richard Brehmer. Charlene loved to play bridge with her friends, cook and bake for her family, and over the years enjoyed playing golf and doing water aerobics.

Survivors include her two daughters, Jacqueline Marshall of Rochester, Minnesota and Lynn (Don) Adams of Conway, Arkansas; one son, Randy (Barb) Brehmer of Falcon Heights, Minnesota; five grandsons and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and three brothers.

Memorials can be directed to St Joseph's Indian School in Chamberlain, SD, or to Special Olympics Minnesota.
