Charleen Wenninger, born in Rochester Minnesota on September 19, 1949 to Frank and Angela Domaille, has passed away today, Wednesday, August 12, 2015 due to complications from pneumonia and a traumatic brain injury.Her review will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW., Rochester.Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 17 at 11:00am at Grace Lutheran Church, 800 East Silverlake Dr., NE, Rochester, with review from 10:00 am until time of the service. Pastor Greg Heidorn will be presiding with the burial service at Grandview Memorial Gardens.Memorials are preferred for Grace Lutheran Church Building Fund. Char graduated from Rochester John Marshall High School, and then later from Winona State University with a Nursing Degree.She worked at Mayo Clinic for 35 years in the areas of Dialysis, the Cardiac Unit, Discharge Planning, Nicotine Research and Cardiac Research, before retiring in 2010. Char loved walking with her beloved dog Snowball 3-5 miles each day.She also carried with her throughout her entire life a great passion for music and theater.Char loved spending as much time with her family as she was able to, and her grandchildren and great-grand daughter were the joys of her life. Char is survived by her brother Mark (Julie) Domaille of California, and her sister Ann (Pat) Zahasky from Texas and their families; her daughters Tammi (Shawn) Losinski and Cori (Josh) Smidt, and her son Bryce(Emilie) Domaille;her six grandchildren Cody (Amalyn) Domaille, Kasey Brogan, Alex Brogan, Lydia Domaille, Isaac Domaille and Elayna Domaille; her 6 step grandchildren; her great-grand daughter Tridaya Domaille, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones. Char was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 grandchildren. Chars family would like to thank Saint Marys Hospital for the care that they provided for her during her last 2 weeks of life, especially the nursing staff on Domitilla 2, and Mary Brigh 8 DAlso for the wonderful Neurological Team that took care of her.Lastly, we thank the Saint Marys Chaplain Services, and our own Pastor Greg Heidorn for making time to pray with her each day.
